Ps2 era: DBZ budokai 3 was the best traditional fighting game but DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was hands down the most true to the series and imo the best dbz fighting game we ever had, huge roster, it was the predecessor to xenoverse in a sense The fangame Hyper DBZ is also worth keeping an eye on. My favourite of all of those is still Super DBZ, such a well crafted fighter that's underrated by the community. Tenkaichi 3, Raging Blast 2 and Xenoverse would be the ones I recommend.įor something more akin to a 2D Fighter there's Hyper Dimension, Super DBZ, Ultimate and Extreme Butouden. Shin Budokai 2, Burst Limit and Infinite World would be the ones I recommend the most.įor a 3D Arena Fighter that resembles the show there's the Sparking/Budokai Tenkaichi games + Raging Blast and Xenoverse.
